Ana Celia de Armas Caso was born in Cuba and raised to Spanish parents. She started her career as a Cuban actress on Una rosea de Francia, an romantic comedy. Between 2007 and 2010she appeared as El Internado in six popular seasons of the Spanish drama. After the move into Los Angeles de Armas landed English actors in the psychological horror Knock Knock (2014) and the comedy crime movie War Dogs (2017). Her fame was boosted by her character as the hyper-realistic AI projection Joi in the science-fiction film Blade 2049 (2017). Ana de Armas was Ben Affleck's girlfriend before he married Jennifer Lopez. Affleck and Ana de Armas dated for about a year, following the time they worked in Deep Water. Ana de Armas got more focus because she was with Ben Affleck. It was however not the kind of person one would want. Ballerina is the next spin-off and will feature Ana de Armas in her character of Rooney. The character is the murderer that appeared briefly in John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum and was performed (by Unity Phelan) by Unity Phelan.
